"I'm so glad I did the Airline Preparation day as it gave me an invaluable insight into the types of assessments airlines use for their selection process. Having done the course, I feel a lot more confident about the airline selection process as I now know what my strengths and weaknesses are. The whole experience was invaluable and it is definitely worthwhile. I highly recommend it to anyone planning to apply to airlines." (JL - NSW)
"The airline preparation day is a great way anyone can prepare for pilot recruitment. You will sit the identical aptitude tests which major airlines use, overseen by an airline recruitment expert. Then you will learn key skills needed to pass the group exercise and final interview. The airline preparation day is a crucial investment for any aspiring pilot. After completing the course, I have progressed to the final stage of the Qatar Airways Cadet Programme- thanks" (Dominic - North QLD)
"I'm a year 11 student and have wanted to be a pilot for ever but always thought it was only a dream. My careers teacher suggested taking the aptitude assessment and the results have shown me that I have what it takes and have allowed me to discuss my future with my parents. Thank you". (DC - NSW)
"The pilot aptitude tests were quite challenging, not only due to content but also in length. The results were extremely helpful as I was able to identify both personal and technical areas where I need to concentrate in order to better prepare for the industry. The facilitators could not have been more helpful and were very thorough in explaining the results. I have and will continue to recommend this testing to anyone seeking a career as a pilot." (Richard - Brisbane)
"I didn't make it through the cadet selection program for Jetstar in 2011, but they didn't tell me why. I am applying again later this year when I finish Uni and a friend suggested that I took the Aptitude tests to see where I needed to focus my preparation. The staff were great and talked me through the results which showed exactly where I was good and where I need to brush up a lot (mental maths) before re-applying. Wish I'd done them earlier. (Anon)
"The money you pay is worth its weight in gold. Before you rack up a debt through expensive courses ... you can use this test to satisfy your curiosity and either move forward with your flying career or move onto something else. Some people spend their whole lives trying to answer these questions...and I found it very worthwhile." (Jarred - SE Qld)
"I am a commercial pilot with around 1,000 hours in GA so I did the Advanced Compass Tests. I am currently studying aviation at Griffith Uni and looking to progress to an airline. Although I have a bit of experience in the industry I haven't sat an aptitude test in the past. The results that came back from the test were extremely helpful and now I won't have to worry about not knowing what to expect in airline selection. I feel a lot more confident and sure about my ability to achieve well under pressure. The cost is well worth it. I couldn't name a price for the confidence I have gained. The debrief was very clear and just as helpful as the tests themselves. I would highly recommend the program to all pilots regardless of experience. Thanks." (Lindsay - Brisbane)
"Challenging tests but great fun. I have a uni degree in engineering but want to change career path. The staff were really encouraging when I talked to them about the results and I now know that there are a couple of areas that I really must improve before I start flying" (RT - Sunshine Coast)
"A bit expensive because I had to travel interstate, but worth every cent. The discussion of results afterwards was really helpful." (Anon - Northern Territory)
"I enjoyed the morning. Each test is quite short but altogether last over 2 hours so I was quite drained at the end but this is like flying! I have done some flight training and now know where I need to focus more to make it a career. Thanks a million for the advice." (Anon - NSW).
